Twelve local churches banded together to build and fully fund a Habitat home in Pickens County. The Durham family home was dedicated in 2011 after 11 churches and one local softball team put in more than 1,000 hours during the construction.
Since 1981, Pickens County Habitat for Humanity has built or renovated more than 100 safe, decent, and affordable homes for more than 300 individuals in need.
