Work with PCHFH

Work with Pickens County Habitat for Humanity

Pickens County Habitat for Humanity (PCHFH) has been a part of the community since 1981. In that time, the affiliate has built or renovated more than 100 safe, decent, and affordable homes for more than 300 individuals in need and significantly contributed to the area’s economy through our operations. The individuals and families served by our affiliate are hard-working people from all walks of life who live and work among us; they are our friends and neighbors and contribute so much to our communities. They are not gifted a Habitat home—they pay a mortgage, maintain homeowners’ insurance and are responsible for property taxes like every homeowner. The cost of their home is made affordable through reduced construction and labor costs and through a zero-interest rate mortgage. By purchasing a Habitat home, they benefit from a hand up, not a handout.

Together with our strategic partners, we work alongside our partner families, changing lives and communities one house at a time.
