Our History

Since 1981, Pickens County Habitat for Humanity has built or renovated more than 100 safe, decent, and affordable homes for more than 300 individuals in need.

2009 – Pickens County Habitat hosts six Collegiate Challenge schools.

A Habitat home is framed.

Six universities spent their representative spring breaks building a Habitat home in Pickens County.  The Pickens County Habitat Collegiate Challenge included students from University of Wisconsin, University of Florida, Hampden Sydney College, Miami Valley School, Moravian College, and the University of North Alabama.
