Our History

Since 1981, Pickens County Habitat for Humanity has built or renovated more than 100 safe, decent, and affordable homes for more than 300 individuals in need.

2008 – Campus Chapter awarded.

The Clemson University Campus Chapter of Habitat for Humanity was awarded Campus Chapter of the Year by Habitat International for its strong relationship with the Pickens County affiliate and for being a leader in green building practices.  The chapter would later build and dedicate the state’s first LEED-Certified Habitat home.
