Our History

Since 1981, Pickens County Habitat for Humanity has built or renovated more than 100 safe, decent, and affordable homes for more than 300 individuals in need.

1990 – Fraternity becomes largest donor.

Sigma Chi fraternity of Clemson University donated proceeds from their Derby Day activities and became the affiliate’s largest donor at that time with their $8,500 gift. Greek organizations of Clemson have since been extremely active in the building of Pickens County Habitat homes.
