Join Our Mission: Expanded Volunteer Opportunities Await at PCHFH

Longtime PCHFH volunteers Bob and Donna DiAntonio

At Pickens County Habitat for Humanity (PCHFH), we're more than a nonprofit organization; we're a community united by the common goal of providing safe, affordable housing. Our mission thrives on the commitment of volunteers, from those who strategize on committees to hands-on workers on construction sites. Discover how you can join this vibrant volunteer team and help make a tangible difference in the lives of families in need.

Vital Committees Awaiting Your Passion

1. Construction and Safety Committee
Steer our building efforts by planning and overseeing construction projects, ensuring we provide safe, affordable homes to those in need. Your dedication directly translates into the joy and security of a family's new beginning.

2. Communications and Development Committee
Help us tell the story of transformation and community through various media, engaging and expanding our network of supporters to secure the resources needed for our mission's success.

3. Homeowner Selection and Support Committee
Support our partner families on their journey to homeownership with education, mentorship, and ongoing assistance, ensuring a smooth transition into their new lives.

4. Finance Committee
Oversee our financial health, from budgeting and planning to resource allocation, ensuring we maximize every dollar to benefit our community.

Join Our Construction Crew

Dive into the heart of our mission by volunteering with our construction crew on Tuesday/Thursday or Wednesday/Friday each week. These days are dedicated to building homes from the ground up, offering a hands-on opportunity to see the direct impact of your efforts. Whether you're skilled in construction or eager to learn, your contribution is invaluable to turning blueprints into homes filled with laughter, love, and new beginnings. With safety training and guidance provided, all you need to bring is your enthusiasm and a willingness to make a difference.
