Ladies, this is your time to shine. As we mentioned in our last newsletter, Pickens County Habitat for Humanity is hosting the amazing Women Build 2025 on March 8th! Not only will you build homes, but you will be building a better community.
Since 1991, women have been joining forces from all walks of life to ultimately make a long-lasting impact on the community. Today, Women Build Projects are available all across the US — encouraging all skill levels, even first-time builders, to contribute to making a difference.
Not only does the project result in the construction of affordable homes, but it ultimately supports the creation of irreplaceable relationships emanating from the strength and compassion of women looking to show the world what can be accomplished when they join hands to support a good cause.
Join together to show Pickens County what you can do. The more the merrier — gather your friends and family to join you! The event will begin at 9:00 AM, and you will be sure to receive a warm welcome before a brief training session to get you started. Habitat for Humanity appreciates all forms of support — whether you are painting, building, or cheering on your peers, you're helping to shape an environment of stability that will change family lives.
Even if you can’t join us, we appreciate any and all contributions to PCHFH. Your efforts will support Women Build and all of the affordable housing initiatives at PCHFH. Space is limited, so sign up quickly — we guarantee this will be an experience to remember.
