Clemson University Athletics Build

Pickens County Habitat for Humanity partnered with Clemson University Athletics in 2017 to build a home for a local family in need of safe, affordable, and decent housing. The Clemson University Athletic Build was completed in 2019 after being partially constructed by student-athletes who represent a variety of Clemson sports teams. Homeowner Tabitha worked alongside student-athletes and PCHFH volunteers as they built her home and says this of her experience: “The student-athletes building my home means we can have a stable space where my loving family can grow and call home. It gives me hope for the future and that means the world to me.”  We are so proud of the hundreds of student-athletes who committed their time and energy to this effort.

In 2018, Dabo’s All In Team Foundation awarded Pickens County Habitat for Humanity $72,000 to build a home in Liberty, SC for a family in need. Pickens County Habitat recently finished constructing the home in 2019. Kathleen Swinney, Vice Chair of the Foundation, was able to volunteer at the home and attend the dedication ceremony. Thank you, Dabo’s All In Foundation, and thank you to the hundreds of volunteers who helped bring this home to completion!
